This is why:

Yes, some people think twice before getting involved in a Network Marketing opportunity and why is that, that is only because of some reasons:

Belief in themselves
Lack of ambition
Fear of rejection
Impatience
Fear of judgment
Fear of change

I could go on and on but those are the main one reasons that come to my mind, and I can say one thing, we can’t change people, but we can inspire them leading by example.

There’s only a few brave people that have taken the challenge and I admire that people because they have decided to take the initiative of changing their lives, is Network marketing the only option to change your life? of course not, but it is an option that if you are willing to follow a system you will see realized your dreams come true, and those brave people will see it because they are focused and all of those barriers will only make them stronger and gives them the courage to go on and on, like Robert Kiyosaky said, people will talk about you poor or rich might as well let them talk about you being rich.

A shout to people already in Network Marketing:

My heart goes to those hard workers Network Marketing people who follow their dream no matter what and don’t let negative people influence their careers. Keep seeking for the positive people that have a strong desire to change their lives and are willing to pay the price, (they are out there) because they know the reward will be there as long as you keep on trying. One thing you should know for sure, the day you die you will die with a smile in your face knowing that you had the courage to try and you changed people’s lives, you inspired someone, and you were not behind a desk waiting for a paycheck and kissing your boss’s you know what.

How many times will you feel frustrated? many! how many time will you feel you want to quit? many! but that will be temporary if you are a true networker, because you know that successful people have failed multiple times before they became successful.

A lot of people in Network Marketing try to find the best way to build their organizations, and a lot of questions arise:

Should I build online?

Should I build offline?

Is there a “system” that can help me out?

how can I get leads?

Should I do cold calling?

Let me tell you that I had the same questions, what I find in Network marketing is that the most important factors to be successful in network marketing are:

1. Patience
2. Stay Motivated
3. Duplication

How to accomplish that in Network Marketing?

In one of my company training (Numis Network) they said something that got stuck in my head, they said “It’s not what you do but what you duplicate”, and as I’ve been very busy and investing most of my time in studying online techniques and being successful with recruiting 21 people from social media sites, I found that I really needed to focus more in those 3 factors: patience, motivation and duplication, and I came to the conclusion that the best way to do it is to start a local mastermind group, a group that will be accountable for each other, keep in mind that Network Marketing is a group effort, by gathering and mastermind ideas you will find the patience necessary, you will stay motivated by spending time with positive people and the duplication will be inevitable, I will keep on prospecting online but I will also start my local mastermind group because I believe is the best way to build duplication, to get that support and provide that support.

Ideas on how to build locally in your network marketing efforts

I am lucky to be part of an amazing company where we all share ideas and support each other, but if you feel that you are lost in the dust, with no ideas and feeling like you are not progressing, a good advice from me to you would be, find out who in your city is in the same company, and then build together locally! by going to networking events, events in your niche, or sales events, any event is good to get to know people! Do you think you are the only person that has  been affected by the economy and want to change your life? the only person that is positive and a go getter? WRONG! there’s a lot out there like you and me! our job is to find those motivated positive people! they are out there believe me!

Although we know sales got little to do with Network marketing, yes we market a product but still a lot of people think that if they join a Network marketing opportunity they often think “I am not good in sales”.

WRONG! we are not sales leads we are business owners that build relationships so we can decide if a future partner would be a good match with us so we can work together in building an organization.

So when you target or filter your prospecting and ask yourself if you should recruit sales leads, the answer is SURE! they got the connections, the mindset, the positive attitude, they don’t get discourage for rejection, and all that is GREAT!

On the other hand they tend to talk a lot trying to “convince” and we ladies and gentlemen are not here to convince anybody we should be MASTER INVITEES, that is right we have to talk little to a lot of people.

We have 10 % of retention, meaning out of 100 people we invite to see our opportunity 1o will join.

Do sales leads require special training then?

No, they require special un-training, just make them clear the new rules of the game, and if they disagree it’s probably because they are not teachable and want to do things their way and try to re-invent the wheel, when it’s so critical to understand that we all will succeed if we just do what works and save the energy for that instead of wasting our time doing extra unnecessary things.

Personally, I am so fortunate to have partners with top sales background and it is a pleasure to work with such goal oriented people, because once they get familiar with all this “MLM thing” they will become the most effective, producers ever! So when it comes to recruiting sales leads do not hesitate!

Wow, I can not believe how fast this past year went by! But now is time to talk about a NEW Year, and I want to talk to all the network marketing leads out there that are trying their best, and looking into getting a better quality of life! I really hope that with the new year you reinforce all your goals and your why, remember what get you into this, remember what is the end result and that one day at a time you will be closer and closer to accomplish your goal.

Being a network marketing lead is so easy to get discourage because we deal with a lot of people with different level of beliefs and it’s out of our hands to control their own excitement, we can just encourage people as a leader and try to be contagious.

Network Marketing leads: What is a good start for 2011

• Lead by example: Which means you have to set personal goals, is time to learn the industry better, is time for you to read about your niche, be ahead of the game by investing time in reading, pick up a good book at the library or search in the internet.

• Be the Leader you should be: Once you have the knowledge you are entitle to be called leader yes! you are the network marketing leader a lot of people will listen because you know what works, and let me tell you that a lot of people seek guidance!
• Create new Network Marketing leads: Once you acquire the knowledge, you have to pass that knowledge on, and on and on, that will ensure duplication in your business and you can leverage your time and efforts.
• Improve your skills: Be an eternal student: Pay attention on what the successful people in your business are doing and follow their steps, ask them and they will tell you! they love to share!

I know you have a strong desire to make it happen, to make the best year ever, and I want you to know that that is not hard when that desire is strong enough to overcome any obstacle, believe me all network marketing leads have faced those same obstacles that is why we need to encourage each other to be able to stay committed and strong in what we believe is not just a plan B but a lifestyle, a life style that we enjoy because the real network marketing leads have chosen this industry for the same reason: PASSION, not for anything else but because we are people persons that are willing to pay the price, don’t let another year to pass without receiving what you deserve!

Skills that all Network Marketing Leads should learn to make this new year YOUR YEAR!:

It’s not secret that in order for us to be successful in this Industry we need to take MASSIVE action, and the internet is the best way to accomplish that. In order for that you need to get good in understanding and learn some skills:

• How to find high quality blogs out there, where you can learn from.
• Tools that will allow you reach as many people as possible
• How to identify different personalities so you know how to close the deal
• How to build relationships and maintain them.

YES!!

What moves more than love? NOTHING! but …

Passion is what will take you to the end result, if you are not¬†¬† passionate about what you are doing, it doesn’t matter how good the compensation is, it doesn’t even matter your why, you won’t see results period.

Now everything I write comes from personal experience, I had the opportunity to be involved in a couple of companies before than the one I am involved now and enjoyed it, but I didn’t feel the passion to promote something that wouldn’t really really benefit people in a greatly manner, I am not going to talk about your product, my product, no.

What I would like to talk is about how comfortable you feel with whatever you are promoting, because your credibility is at risk, so if you are sure about the product you are promoting, good, if your dreams are crystal clear, great, if you have specified your why, wonderful! but the most important thing is for you to be passionate about it, without passion you won’t see results period.

This morning I posted something in my Facebook wall :

The secret of personal success is to be true to yourself and to continue to want more, it’s not enough to be happy, you must also grow in your desire for more. Passion is power when you really want more you will get it, we must want it so much that it hurts when we don’t get it.

I hope that whatever you are doing you have that burning passion that will take you to success!

Now going back to the financial crisis, I am not a financial expert, I am just a network marketer like many out there are concerned about our future and our families future, I am not trying to sell fear, but try to make people conscious of the situation we are facing. I firmly believe the people that get out of that stage of denial and get EDUCATED will be better prepared for whatever the future will bring.

If you ask me, I got involved in the gold and silver business without knowing about it, but as I realized I felt the responsibility of learning, as I read and research and share with people my findings, about what the experts predict in the future, I see how people just get the “that can not happen” attitude.

If you are in Network marketing GOOD! I hope you be consistent enough to make a lot of money, and when that happens acquire assets that retain their value!

We all know the power of Network Marketing, regarding the level of income that can bring into our lives, thanks to leveraging our time and skills (love this), more and more people are looking into this way to not just to make a living and replace their salaries but to accumulate wealth, now what are the keys to find the perfect opportunity? because before you invest your TIME, EFFORT and DEDICATION, you should consider some basic ingredients to success:

1. Timing
2. Company
3. Product
4. Demand
5. Competition

After you analyze all this factors then you can make a smart decision to put your heart towards accomplish your goals, because if you want to accumulate wealth you have to agree with me that you need to find the right vehicle, I am assuming that Network Marketing makes sense to you already, now what about a product?

I would like to focus on number 4 and 5: Demand and Competition

Demand: You need to find a product that you can honestly answer to this question: “Would I like to have it?”

Competition: You really need to see who are competing to, I don’t care how good is your product, there’s always a Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Folgers, AT&T around the corner.

I am sure you might be thinking “everybody needs a cell, coffee, electricity, food, health, beauty!” yes, I agree everybody needs all those products or services, but I am going to introduce you to a new word, all of those products and services are consumables, meaning once you drink it, use it and pour it, it’s gone!

Collectible Graded Coins are a product that you might want to consider due to it’s value, it’s real money, something tangible that won’t expire. It’s not a product that only coin collectors appreciate and seek like a drug more than a hobby, the hobby of kings, but people in general, who wouldn’t like thinking they have a nice collection growing and growing of graded collectible coins? I know I would!

What about Coin Collectors would they think is a good product?

I found that there’s more collectors out there that I never though, if they only knew they can get those same coins at a very competitive prices, that they will get a tax break, and make money on top of that, they would go crazy!

HOW TO ACCOMPLISH DUPLICATION

You got involved in a Multilevel company, now you are one of those network marketing leads, and the first thing they tell you is to focus on your WHY and to ensure your success to have to have duplication, and you start thinking about your WHY:

• Quit your job
• Work from home and spend time with your family
• Get debt free
• Travel the world and buy everything that you desire
• Provide for your kids to give them a nice future where they can have choices in life
• Prove yourself and the people you know that you are smart and capable to meet your dreams

Then you started working with a passion a burning passion day and night, thinking about the reasons why you decided to just do it. Now I hope you do this exercise for real and write those reasons down, see most people fail because they think “this crap is not important” but it really is!

LET’S TALK DUPLICATION THEN BABE !

Now you see some results got a few people involved that got into this business for their own reasons, which is great, the idea of contributing to other people’s success is the most wonderful thing anybody can experience, now you are a LEADER! You have accomplished the most wonderful task ever, I don’t care if you only bring into your business only one person, now let me tell you what is next, the next step is to make it really happen, how? By making it duplicable, and how you might ask, the people under you have different personalities and limitations or strengths than you, but you have to make sure YOU and that person:

FOLLOW THE SYSTEM TO ENSURE DUPLICATION !!!!

That is right now your success in this business aka duplication depends on how good your team does, and this is something serious my friend, you should be committed in TEACHING OTHERS to become leaders and that is food for thought, I will be more than happy to explain in another article what a leader means, but for now we are talking duplication, duplication is simple, when you do the “simple” tasks that you have to do, not sure what your company’s system is but in my primary company we have all the tools and resources to ensure duplication:

• videos explaining the opportunity
• marketing¬† materials (dvds, flyiers, etc)
• power point presentation to perform business opportunity meetings
• national conference calls
• webinars
• A capture page to gather leads on auto-pilot

Now a few more advices for you to ensure duplication in your business:

1. Understand this business requires WORK and COMMITMENT
2. You have to be able to transmit your enthusiasm to them on a daily basis
3. Have meetings and discuss strategies all the time to see what works and what doesn’t
4. Work as a team, combine qualities, encourage each other no matter what
5. Set goals in your mind, write them down and make them visible

If you believe in the law of the attraction GOOD! But take action!

To be successful in this Industry you have to MAKE IT DUPLICABLE and the only way is to work as a team and this is for YOU AND YOUR DOWNLINE!… Don’t worry about how good or bad your upline is doing, worry for yourself and your downline ……….. As you can see duplication is not hard, when you do what you need to do: take action and teach others to do the same. To your success and duplication.

Sometimes we get too focus in recruiting our own personal partners that, we forget to do so.

As I told you before, I will start sharing with you the tools and techniques that I use and have worked for me.

MINDSET: The power of your mind is very powerful, if you think you can you can, if you don’t believe it you can’t, wishing is not the same, you have to repeat over and over “I can recruit people easily, I am a magnet to the best marketers that want to work with me because I have shown that I am a leader capable to contribute to their success”

ATITTUDE: In this business you HAVE TO have the right attitude, and if you don’t have it, it’s probably because you haven’t get familiar with the business, to do so you have to :

• get familiar with your back office,
• review your website(s),
• the compensation plan,
• join the training webinars on Tuesdays at 8:00 CST (link in your back office)
• Put your prospects in the weekly webinar on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm CST (link in your back office)
• Make your new associates join on Wednesdays the welcome and orientation webinars (link in your back office)

Once you do all this we will have the right attitude that knowledge provides, also speak loud not too loud but if you have a weak voice it would give the impression you are a weak leader and nobody wants to join you, just ask yourself if you would join yourself, and be honest!

PHONE CALLS: I don’t do cold calling, I usually call the people once they have shown some kind of interest in the business, the way I usually follow the same script “Hello this is Dalia I am with numis, we distribute gold and silver and make money on the process, the product speaks for itself..if this makes sense to you, you should join I would like to have a partner like you”, show confidence, then hung up and follow up a few days later, make sure you write down all the names of the people you have talked to..

DON’T TALK TOO MUCH ABOUT THE BUSINESS!

I can not believe how fast this year 2010 passed, I have to admit that it was a very challenging year for me, I learned so much! and I’m so grateful for every challenge that I had, and all the people that I met, and of course the opportunity of finding the Network Marketing opportunity that I was looking for (NUMIS!) yeah!

One of the most important things that we have to take in consideration when we are involved in Network Marketing besides to help and teach other people is to be grateful, we have to be grateful with life for all the blessings each and every day, I am grateful even for the rejection from people, because I have learned that people reject my business NOT ME, based in their own disbelief in themselves to be successful in my business.

Same rejection that had made me more stronger and stronger every day, because when people say NO to you, you realize that no is not mortal and you keep breathing!

We have to be grateful with our families and friends, that put up with us when they see our excitement and they don’t try to kill our dreams!

Grateful with my wonderful partner in business!! Aristides Rivas, Kevin Stroud, Alton McDonald, David Herman, Vincent Webb, Michael Cain, Pastor Young, just to mention some!!!
